CHECK-IN & DURING YOUR STAY

Location: The main internet router is in the maintenance room and there are several Eero extenders throughout the house including in the Living Room, Laundry Room and Office. 

How many TVs and which rooms are they located? Are they smart TVs?

  • Living room (second floor): remote on coffee table
  • Family room/den (first floor): remote on coffee table
  • Office (second floor): remote on desk
  • Master Bedroom (second floor): remote on bedside table

All TVs are smart TVs. Streaming services are Netflix, Amazon, etc and guest can connect to their personal accounts.

Sound System Inside / Sound System Outside

There is a Sonos system throughout the house and the Sonos “Move” in the kitchen can be taken outside.  Be mindful to recharge it regularly on the base charger.

We recommend downloading the Sonos App and connect to the Wifi Network for best experience.

House Landline

There is no house landline.  Certain cell phone providers may not have strong reception in the house and we recommend using the “WIFI Calling” feature of your smart phone.

There are two Nest Thermostats

  • Second floor in Master Bedroom

Are beach passes included?

The beaches do not require a pass. However, in order to park, you must purchase a parking permit and have it registered to your car or pay for parking. For example, Main Beach in East Hampton has payment via the PayMobile app.

Where are the closest private beaches?  Are permits required? Do you provide the permits?

  • Landfall Bay Beach access is 1/4 mile walk from the house. No parking available. No permit necessary.
  • Sammy’s Beach (bay beach) is a 1 mile walk from house via the bay or a 1 1/2 mile drive. Limited parking available with car permit.

Parking for East Hampton Beaches requires a permit registered to your car or you can pay for daily parking.

  • Cuisinart coffee drip maker (filters in the pantry)

No, the house is on a septic system so please be mindful of putting food waste in the trash.

Ice Maker?

Yes, located in the freezer

Wine or beverage fridge?  What temperature should it be set to?

Yes, located in the living room. Please keep on or around 50 degrees (11 C).

Small Appliances? (Vitamix, Ninja, Kitchenaid mixer, toaster oven, blender, toaster)

Toaster located on the counter. Blender and mixer located in high cabinet above the refrigerator.

Blinds:

Blinds in the Master bedroom are control by a remote on the night stand

Blinds downstairs in the main room are either controlled by the control on the wall or by pulling or pressing lightly on the lever attached to the blinds.

Queen sleep couch is located in the office:

The bedding/pillows for the sleeper couch are located in the Master Bedroom right walk-in closet. Extra bath towels for guests using the sleeper couch are located in the white cabinet in the den area.

Master bedroom left walk-in closet is for owner use and remains locked.

Indoor Amenities

Game Room/Games

  • Puzzles and a deck of cards are located below the coffee table in the living room.
  • Giant Jenga is located in the den.
  • Travel cornhole game is located in the garage.
  • Basketballs for pool basketball are located in the garage.

Gym Equipment:

Yoga mat and rollers are located in the den.

Outdoor Amenities

The outdoors area is treated for mosquitos and ticks. In the living room bar area cabinets, there are lanterns and citronella candles and Thermacell mosquito repellers.

Grill:

The Grill is located on the outside upper deck.  To use, you may need to turn the gas on located to the right of the grill.  Please remember to turn it off as you check out.  

Grill tools are located in the kitchen drawer.

Please clean off the grill before checking-out.

Pool

Heater Location and Instructions

The pool heater is located in the pool enclosure.  There is a gas switch that will need to be turned on.

The heater itself is self-explanatory, turn the heater on and set it to the appropriate temperature.   Please be mindful that the heater uses gas which may lead to driving excessive usage of utilities and extra charges.

There are pool floats and noodles located in the garage.

Other Important Information

The pool heater runs 8AM to 8PM. 

The pool light switch is located on the wall facing the pool inside the Family room. 

No food or drink is allowed in the pool, and no glass is allowed by the pool area. Broken glass in the pool will result in additional drainage and cleaning fees.

There are plastic plates, bowls, cups etc located in the cabinets in the living room.

The pool uses Salt Water

Outdoor Umbrella

Please close the deck umbrella at the end of each day as well as the end of your stay. In the event of bad weather, please close the umbrella. Please do not bring indoor furniture outdoors.

Outdoor Information

No indoor furniture is allowed outside. Please use extreme caution when moving outdoor furniture. Be sure to lift the furniture and not drag it across the patio/deck. If furniture is moved, please place the items back to how they were found at your time of arrival to avoid an additional charge.
